WHY WE WERE FOUNDED
Democracy should not require political connections.
Our Liberty began in the Rio Grande Valley from a simple idea: people should be able to understand their government, identify who has authority, and make themselves heard. Our Liberty brings voter tools, civic education, public advocacy, and policy work into one place so residents can move from concern to participation.

Civil Rights
Equal dignity, equal protection, and accountable government.

Immigrant Rights
Dignity and rights do not depend on where someone was born.
Explore position +We support humane immigration policies, due process, family unity, access to reliable Know Your Rights information, and fair treatment of immigrants and mixed-status families in our communities.
Healthcare
Healthcare is a human right.
Explore position +We support affordable and accessible healthcare, preventive care, mental health services, maternal health, stronger community health resources, and the freedom of women to make personal healthcare decisions without unnecessary government interference.
Education
Strong public schools and real opportunity for every student.

Environment
South Texas communities deserve clean water, protected land, and a healthy future.
Explore position +We advocate for responsible development, coastal protection, water security, drainage infrastructure, environmental accountability, and greater attention to environmental burdens affecting low-income communities. This includes local concerns involving industrial development when community health, ecosystems, public access, or infrastructure may be affected.
